The Week 13 college football schedule doubles as Rivalry Week for many programs. And while some of the rivalry matchups will be more about pride and bragging rights, some will also directly impact the College Football Playoff picture. No. 5 Florida State lost quarterback Jordan Travis (leg) in Week 12 and the Seminoles will try to prove they are still worthy of a CFP spot when take on Florida.

The Week 13 college football lines via SportsLine consensus list the Seminoles as 6.5-point road favorites. No. 8 Alabama (-13.5) will try to stay in the hunt in the Iron Bowl against Auburn (Saturday 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS). The same is true for No. 4 Washington (-15.5) as it takes on Washington State in the Apple Cup. No. 1 Georgia, meanwhile is a 24-point favorite against Georgia Tech.

However, the biggest matchup of the week is The Game between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Michigan, which essentially serves as a play-in matchup for the playoffs. The Wolverines, who won't have head coach Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines for The Game due to his suspension, are listed at -3 and the over/under for total points is 46.5 in this matchup of elite defenses (see more college football lines right here).

Before making any Week 13 college football bets on those games or others, be sure to see what legendary college football handicapper Bruce Marshall has to say.

For years Vegas-based Marshall was synonymous with The Gold Sheet, the famed sports betting newsletter. With a background in play-by-play work and sports information while in college, Bruce joined TGS in 1981 when hired by the legendary Mort Olshan and served as executive editor for many years. Marshall now supplies his unique and colorful brand of football and basketball analysis to SportsLine members.

An in-demand guest on numerous sports talk radio and TV shows across the country, Bruce's vast array of editorial work has been featured in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the New York Post and many other outlets. He has won various handicapping titles and also is working on several book projects.

Now he's studied the Week 13 college football schedule and used his Tech Corner technique to break down every matchup.

One thing we can tell you for Week 13: Marshall is backing Clemson (-7.5) at South Carolina in a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday. He also likes the Under (49) in that matchup.

"This is a revenge spot for Dabo Swinney after a 31-30 loss at Death Valley last November, though Clemson had covered four of five previous meetings," Marshall said. "Tigers have turned things around lately with wins and covers last three this season. The Under is also 4-1 in last five for Gamecocks."

Marshall has evaluated every other matchup and he's fading one team on a miserable 1-11 run against the spread! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before making any college football picks.
