With just two weeks remaining in the PGA Tour regular season, two-time major champion Justin Thomas will try to earn his way into the FedEx Cup Playoffs when he tees off in the 3M Open beginning Thursday at TPC Twin Cities north of Minneapolis. Thomas was not originally scheduled to compete in Minnesota, but he enters the 3M ranked No. 75 in the FedEx Cup standings. Only the top 70 in the standings will qualify for the Playoffs, prompting Thomas' last-minute change of heart. For this week, Thomas is +2200 in the latest 3M Open golf odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Defending champion Tony Finau, Sungjae Im and Cameron Young are the co-favorites in the 3M Open field, at +1400.
Before locking in any 2023 3M Open picks, make sure you see the PGA Tour predictions and best bets from golf betting and fantasy expert Sia Nejad.
Nejad specializes in betting and DFS in golf, among other sports. He's had incredible success in the outright and first-round leader markets and in betting head-to-head matchups. The expert has been on fire on head-to-head matchups since the Charles Schwab Challenge, going 19-8-1 and returning 9.28 units over that span. That's a $928 profit for $100 bettors in the past nine weeks.
Nejad also nailed 75-1 longshot Wyndham Clark as the outright winner at the Wells Fargo Championship. In 2023, SportsLine debuted "The Early Wedge," and in the first three months of the show, he hit two first-round leaders and three outright winners. Nejad also had a winning head-to-head record in seven of nine weeks. He was up more than 70 units over that three-month span.
Now, Nejad has been digging into the 2023 3M Open field to find the best value and just locked in his best bets and favorites to avoid.
One surprise: Nejad is fading Sungjae Im even though he is among the favorites at +1600. However, Nejad is high on the chances of Lucas Glover, who's a 50-1 longshot. "He has been great with the putter and is back to his old self with the ball-striking as well," Nejad told SportsLine.
Moreover, Nejad is jumping on several underdogs, including one HUGE longshot who's priced at more than 65-1. This player has a putter that "appears to be coming around" and could win this week. If he does, you could cash in HUGE. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any 2023 3M Open picks of your own!
So which 2023 3M Open players should you target or avoid? And which player could bring a MASSIVE payday at more than 65-1? ... Join SportsLine right now to see Sia Nejad's top picks for the 2023 3M Open, all from the expert who returned more than 70 units on recent golf picks!
