Before you bet on the Werder Bremen vs. Bayern Munich match or make any other German Bundesliga predictions, you need to see what SportsLine's soccer expert Martin Green has to say.
After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Green knows Bayern Munich have dominated Bremen, posting 27 victories and four draws in 31 meetings since their last loss in the series in September 2008. The Bavarians also have done extremely well at Weserstadion of late, winning each of their last 14 visits. Bayern has added a major offensive force in striker Harry Kane, who matched his career high with 30 goals for Tottenham of the English Premier League last season.
The expert also is aware that Bremen are looking to end their streak of eight consecutive losses in season openers. The Green-Whites struggled down the stretch last season, winning just one of their final 12 matches. They have a dangerous scoring threat in forward Niclas Fullkrug, who was tied with RB Leipzig's Christopher Nkunku for the league lead in 2022-23 with 16 goals.
