The second round of the FedEx Cup Playoffs takes the PGA Tour's top golfers into unfamiliar territory, with the top 70 players set to tee off Thursday in the 2022 BMW Championship in Wilimgton, Del. The Robert Trent Jones-designed Wilmington Country Club has never hosted a PGA Tour event, but now it will welcome the top golfers in the FedExCup standings as they aim to advance to next week's Tour Championship in Atlanta. Will Zalatoris leads the way as he eyes the season-long championship after posting his first tour win last week.

Caesars Sportsbook lists Rory McIlroy as the 10-1 favorite in its latest BMW Championship odds, with Jon Rahm right behind at 12-1. Zalatoris, Masters champion Scottie Scheffler and reigning FedEx Cup champion Patrick Cantlay are among a group at 14-1. They are joined by PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas and Tony Finau. U.S. Open champ Matt Fitzpatrick is 16-1 in the BMW Championship 2022 field.

Which players can you trust for your 2022 BMW Championship fantasy golf picks? Before you bet the 2022 BMW Championship or lock in any Fantasy golf lineups, you NEED to see the 2022 BMW Championship Fantasy golf rankings from Fantasy expert Riley Gates.

Gates is a writer for 247Sports and has covered a range of sports for nearly six years. He has followed golf closely for much longer and has a profound knowledge of the sport. He also knows what it takes to win, on the course and in fantasy sports.

Gates had another strong week of picks at last week's FedEx St. Jude Championship, with all of his steals of the week making the weekend and J.T. Poston ($7,300 at DraftKings) posting a top-20 finish. He also backed Tony Finau (T-5) and Sungjae Im (12th), so anyone who followed him had success with their Fantasy picks!

Gates has been on a roll this season. He NAILED the Open Championship, going with champion Cameron Smith among his outright winners despite many experts writing off the Australian. For the John Deere Classic, Gates pegged 40-1 longshot Poston as a potential winner before his second tour win.

And at the Travelers, he was all over Sahith Theegala, who was priced at just $7,300 at DraftKings and finished as a runner-up. Anyone who followed Gates' advice has cashed in on their Fantasy golf picks.

Now, Gates has ranked his top players for the 2022 BMW Championship, and we can tell you the expert is strongly backing Finau. What's not to like? The 32-year-old has three straight top-five finishes, including two wins. At less than $10,000 again at DraftKings, he seems like a no-brainer.

On the other hand, Gates is fading Thomas, despite the fact he won a major in May and shares the third-shortest odds on the board. The two-time PGA winner hasn't finished in the top 10 since June and had an up-and-down week at St. Jude.

For this week's event in Delaware, Gates is backing a sleeper for fantasy rosters who is priced at less than $7,000 at DraftKings! The price is more than right on a golfer who is regularly shooting rounds in the 60's! Gates is banking on him for his BMW Championship Fantasy golf picks. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who Gates is touting and check out his top picks before you lock in any BMW Championship 2022 fantasy golf picks!
