The 2022-23 NBA season begins on Oct. 18 and it will be a long and winding season culminating with the 2023 NBA Finals in June. The Golden State Warriors are the defending NBA champions and despite some offseason strife for both franchises, they're +575 co-favorites to win the title with the Boston Celtics. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers haven't been able to significantly reboot their failed experiment with LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook but are still listed at 18-1 to win the title in the latest NBA futures odds from Caesars Sportsbook.
