With his data-driven approach to betting golf, Rick Gehman routinely crushes sportsbooks. Over the final 17 tournaments of the 2020 season, Gehman's bets cashed more than $1,900 for $100 players.
At last week's Sony Open, Gehman went all in on Webb Simpson, pushing him hard in all formats. He is "hungry and headed to one of the best course fits for him," Gehman said, and that confidence paid off. Simpson led in the early going before shooting 67 on Saturday. But he roared to a 64 in the final round to cash Gehman's top-five ticket and a matchup play against Harris English.
At the previous week's Sentry Tournament of Champions, he was confident in Sungjae Im at 11-4 to finish in the top 10. "This number is much too long for someone with his upside," Gehman said, before Im went out and fired 21 under to tie for fifth!
At the 2020 RBC Heritage, Gehman told SportsLine readers to bet Simpson to win at 30-1 before Simpson went out and fired a 22-under to cash that bet. And at November's Mayakoba Golf Classic, Gehman tabbed Viktor Hovland (25-1) as a top contender before he earned his second career PGA Tour victory. Anyone who has followed Gehman's advice has seen MASSIVE returns!
Now Gehman, whose models have produced 12 outright winners in the past year, has analyzed the latest 2021 The American Express odds from William Hill Sportsbook and revealed his picks to win.
We can tell you Gehman is behind Patrick Cantlay this week! The three-time winner on Tour missed a lot of time in 2020, but he was on his game when he was on the course. He has a win and four top-25s in six events on his 2021 slate, and he has played well at La Quinta before. This event should be his for the taking!
Gehman also has isolated two MASSIVE long shots to win, including one who is listed at well over 100-1! This elite ball-striker has had several close calls, including two top-fives this season, and he has had time to rest and hone is game. He is primed for his big breakthrough, and you'll want to be on board when it happens! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is, along with Gehman's detailed bets and picks, before you bet the 2021 The American Express.
