Two teams that have gone decades without a postseason victory will kick off NFL Super Wild Card Weekend 2022 as the Las Vegas Raiders visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. Las Vegas (10-7) hasn't recorded a playoff win since the 2002 season, when it defeated Tennessee in the AFC Championship Game. AFC North champion Cincinnati (10-7) has lost eight consecutive postseason contests since trouncing the Houston Oilers in the wild-card round in 1990.
Kickoff at Paul Brown Stadium is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET. Cincinnati is a six-point favorite in the latest Bengals vs. Raiders odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 48.5. Before making any Raiders vs. Bengals picks, you NEED to see which side SportsLine expert R.J. White is on.
White, a CBS Sports fantasy and gambling editor, ended the 2020 season on an 80-59 run on all NFL picks, returning more than $1,400 during that span. It's no surprise, as White has cashed huge twice in the world's most prestigious football handicapping competition, the Las Vegas SuperContest.
In addition, White is 38-27-2 (+3197) on his last 67 picks involving the Packers, returning more than $800 for $100 bettors! Anyone who has followed him is WAY UP!
Cincinnati came out of its bye week strong, winning five of seven games to secure its first division title since 2015. The first of those victories took place in Week 11 at Las Vegas, where the Bengals scored 19 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 32-13 triumph. Former LSU teammates Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase formed one of the NFL's most dangerous combinations during the regular season, connecting for 13 touchdowns, while Burrow finished sixth in the league with 4,611 passing yards and Chase ranked fourth with 1,455 yards receiving.
Las Vegas surprised many this campaign, winning its final four games to earn the franchise its first postseason berth since 2016 and second since losing to Tampa Bay in Super Bowl XXXVII. The Raiders had a flair for the dramatic in 2021, going 4-0 in overtime while recording six of their 10 victories on the final play of the game. Derek Carr was fifth in the NFL with a career-high and franchise-record 4,804 passing yards, marking the fourth consecutive year he reached the 4,000-yard plateau.
