The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,600 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. The model knows that Louisville's Malik Cunningham can beat teams with his arm or legs. A 6-foot-1 junior from Montgomery, Ala., Cunningham is averaging 308.4 yards of total offense per game this season, which ranks 14th in the country. He also has scored 19 rushing touchdowns which leads the ACC and is sixth in the nation.
The model also knows that Air Force has the top rushing attack in the country. Led by junior fullback Brad Roberts, the Falcons average 340.8 rushing yards per game, which is an absurd 60.2 yards more than the next best team, Army (280.6). In its last game, Air Force rumbled for a season-high 511 rushing yards against UNLV.
Now the model has simulated Louisville vs. Air Force and the First Responder Bowl 10,000 times, and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is leaning Under the total, and it says one side of the spread covers well over 50 percent of the time. You absolutely need to see it before locking in your own picks.
