Jonathan Coachman is joined by expert sports bettors Mike McClure and Zack Cimini on the Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for college basketball, the NBA, NHL and Major League Baseball for Saturday, April 3.

Coach starts things off with two SportsLine Plays of the Day. The first is the Blackhawks (+105) to beat the Predators (3 p.m. ET start). "The Preds offense as of late [has been] very lackluster, not very smooth," Coach says. "So I'm taking the Blackhawks all day." The second Play of the Day is Over 9 runs (-110) in the Angels-White Sox game (9:07 p.m. ET)

McClure's three-pack of picks starts in the Final Four: Gonzaga (-14) to cover against UCLA (8:34 p.m. ET). "UCLA is going to try to force this into a halfcourt game, and that's fine and that will work for maybe 18 minutes of this game," McClure says. "The issue is that you can't really play a slow halfcourt game when you're down by 12 points."

McClure's other two plays come in baseball. The first is the Pirates (+157) over the Cubs (2:20 p.m. ET). "Here we have sun, 63 degrees, absolutely perfect hitting conditions," McClure says. "That's going to create a lot of variance, especially with Jake Arrieta on the mound."

His final play is the Braves (-111) over the Phillies (4:05 p.m. ET). "I think that the Zack Wheeler is on the decline," McClure says. "It's kind of evident by his strikeout rate over the last year."

Cimini's first pick comes in the Final Four: Houston (+5) against Baylor (5:14 p.m. ET). "[The Bears] allowed Arkansas back into the game because of their heavy isolation basketball," Cimini says. "I think that plays into the hands of the Houston Cougars."

And Cimini closes things out with an NBA player prop: the Cavaliers' Isaac Okoro Over 11.5 total points and rebounds against Miami (8 p.m. ET). "Over his last 14 games, he has reached double figures just three times, but one of those performances was against the Miami Heat," Cimini says.
