Jonathan Coachman is joined by top betting experts Allie O' Neill, Justin Perri and Zack Cimini on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get prime plays for the NFL and NHL preseason for Monday, Oct. 4.

The Coach reminds us of three more episodes to watch for today, including the Monday night NFL livestream, an MLB playoff preview and a Champions League episode. Justin looks at how the extra innings rule in the MLB postseason (i.e., no more runners starting on second base) will affect Overs. Zack reveals unique trends on NFL teams coming off Thursday night games.

Justin's recommended prop play from Raiders-Chargers at 8:15 p.m. ET is Bryan Edwards Over 34.5 receiving yards. "This just feels a little low" he says. "He's hit on all three games to start the season. He's gotten at least three targets in every game. They usually get him good air yards so I really think he might need only two targets to get this one done." Justin also highlights a second Edwards prop to consider.

Allie drops her first NHL play of the year, going with the Blue Jackets and Sabres Over six goals at 7:00 p.m. ET in a preseason matchup. Both goalies are coming off shaky outings and with roster cuts coming expect extra offense.

Zack has a trio of plays for the Monday night game, leading with the Chargers at -3. There will be no letdown from Los Angeles after taking down Kansas City. He is also on Jared Cook Over 39.5 yards, as the tight end always shows up for Monday night matchups. Zack is taking Henry Ruggs Over 44.5 yards, as the wide receiver is playing much better early in his second season.
