The Spartans gave Auburn a scare a few weeks ago and have taken care of a couple lesser opponents. Even so, that doesn't seem to merit them being favored over a Wyoming club that has made major strides since its season-opening loss to Illinois. The Cowboys were dominant defensively in a win over Air Force and respectable last week against high-powered BYU. They have also played two more games than San Jose State so they should have superior continuity. Moreover, the chilly weather and rain play right into Wyoming's rugged style of play.
