The A-Sun is a bit more entertaining than most mid-to-low-major loops, partly because even teams near the bottom of the table like Bellarmine can occasionally put on a good show. Though only 8-22, the Knights have mostly held their own the past month (4-5 SU last nine), with four DD scorers led by 6-6 wing Bash Wieland (14.2 ppg). The team to watch, however, is the Peay, which has won six of seven and looms as an intriguing darkhorse for the fast-approaching OVC Tourney. Better news is that top scorer, NW State transfer G Demarcus Sharp (17 ppg), returned to active duty on Wednesday vs. EKU as the Guvs recorded yet another "over" (that's now seven straight and 12-1 last 13!).
