A bit mysterious, this new-look UCLA, with a roster full of far-flung internationals causing longtime Bruins backers to wonder if they are instead watching some overseas FIBA competition after being used seeing Jaime Jaquez and Tyger Campbell and other familiar names the past few years. One familiar face, 6-10 soph Adem Bona (16.8 ppg), is off to an encouraging start, while frosh G Sebastian Mack is scoring at a 21 ppg clip the past two nights. It’s also revenge for UCLA after bowing to the Zags in the Sweet 16 last March, but Mark Few is encouraged by some of his new faces, including top-tier transfers PF Graham Ike (via Wyo) and PG Ryan Nembhard (via Creighton).
