Not a coincidence this winning streak has coincided with his return from an injury. The Cowboys have held a 72-29 blocked shots advantage at home this year, with Cisse leading the way at 25. During this five-game run, Oklahoma State is holding opponents to just 63.6 points per game on 38.9 percent shooting from the field and 28.2 percent from three while outrebounding opponents by over five per game. The Pokes were up 15 earlier this year at Kansas but lost by two.

If you want to find the spark for Oklahoma State's recent surge, look no further than 7-1 big man Moussa Cisse. The Cowboys are 8-1 in Big 12 games when Cisse plays and 0-4 against league opponents when he's sidelined, and his presence creates a one-two frontcourt punch with Kalib Boone that has been excellent during this five-game winning streak. Now Cisse and Boone both played, and were largely ineffective, in a 69-67 loss at Kansas back on Dec. 31, but I think this team has a new identity now that produces better play and getting this game in Stillwater should help power an affirming win for Mike Boynton's squad.
