Presbyterian was one of the worst from beyond the arc last season and only hit four in their first game. The Citadel does have better guard play, but struggles on defense, as does Presbyterian. The Blue Hose of Presbyterian can rebound better but it's guarding the three-ball is where they struggle. The Citadel hit 11 three-pointers in their first game at Clemson. Four of the Citadels five starters scored in double figures against Clemson. I'm on the Citadel.

The Citadel looked pretty good in its opener, losing by only 11 at Clemson. Graduate transfer Austin Ash hit five three-pointers on the way to 19 points and one of the best shot-blockers in the SoCon, Stephen Clark, had three swats. The SportsLine Model has the Citadel winning by 12. That seems a bit generous after they played a double OT game last year, but I'm taking the spread out of play like I usually will.
