Duke freshman Jalen Johnson was terrific in his debut (8-for-8, 19 points), but Michigan State is no Coppin State. The Spartans are an experienced club that coasted to a 10-point win over Notre Dame and has looked more impressive than the Blue Devils this season. Take the points.

I'm a Michigan State fan and I know all too well that Sparty rarely wins its Champions Classic game -- it hasn't had a W in this event since 2015 and has never beaten Duke in it, going 0-3. Tom Izzo just 2-12 all-time against Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski overall.
