The Zags are the top offensive team in the country and the No. 16 defensive team. Florida State is No. 27 on offense and No. 10 on defense. I have Gonzaga the top overall team in college basketball, and I have Florida State the 11th-best team, almost 10 full points behind the Zags. Let's not forget the Zags have revenge from last year's NCAA Tournament. Take hte favorite in the rematch Thursday.

Gonzaga is big. Florida State might be bigger and, with the deepest squad in the Sweet Sixteen, can afford to give up fouls. This spread appears super-sized by the Bulldogs' remarkable 24-plus points differential on average, but FSU presents unique challenges. Plus, Gonzaga has covered in only three of the last dozen NCAA outings.

Terance Mann is a difference maker. I think he's going to handle the bigs for Gonzaga. The Seminoles are playing great right now. I like this team a lot, they can run the floor. This number is too big; FSU has a chance to win outright. Leonard Hamilton is a real good coach and they're 7-1 ATS in their last eight games as underdogs.

I'm projecting a double-digit win for the Zags in the Sweet 16, despite FSU's impressive seven-game win streak. Gonzaga averages just under 89 points per game, most in the nation, and has put up 87 and 83 in the NCAA Tournament thus far. Look for the Zags to get to 80 again and cover.
