UC Irvine has won 14 straight games, but its last loss came at home (-11.5) against Long Beach State. When the two teams met again two weeks later at Long Beach, Irvine won 82-80 but didn't cover -6.5. Now Long Beach is playing its best ball of the season, with a six-game win streak, and the 49ers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last eight. Irvine is 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12, but I'm on Long Beach taking the points.

Long Beach State has won six in a row and is on a stellar 7-1-1 against the spread streak. But that pales in comparison to UC-Irvine, which has won 11 of 12, and is on an 8-0-1 ATS run. These teams split regular-season games, but my computer simulations don't see this rubber match as been close at all.
