Ottawa just had themselves quite a week, taking down three of the NHL's best teams in Vegas, Dallas and Tampa, and forcing Florida to overtime. Now they take on a Washington team that is dealing with a significant bevy of injuries, which should give the Sens an edge here. Ottawa has taken down Washington in four of their past five meetings, scoring 4+ goals in each win, three times winning by 3+ goals. Take the Senators to win.

The Caps need to start stacking wins if they want to get back into the East playoff chase, and a recent 3-game surge gave hope before a 3-2 loss to the hot Panthers. The offense produced fifteen goals over the preceding trio of wins, with C Connor McMichael recently posting a pair of goals in back-to-back wins over the Devils and Lightning last week, and Darcy Kuemper back in nets after a week off. Ottawa's recent form has improved but the Sens are only 8-14-1 away, and Washington looking to atone for one of its poorer efforts of the season way back on October 18 in a 5-1 loss at Canadian Tire Centre.
