The Devils are one of the better offensive teams in the NHL, but they haven't been playing well on that end as of late. On the other side, Seattle is one of the better defensive teams in the league. I see this game ending up with a final score in the 3-2 or 4-2 range.

The Devils have been floundering here for a few weeks, losing nine of their last 13, as the defense has too often leaked. Now, it's the offense causing concerns after getting blanked 1-0 by the Canes on weekend. Nico Daws has hardly been the Rock of Gibraltar (no pun intended for the venue of the Pru Center) with a 3.43 GAA in seven appearances in goal for the Devils, and Seattle seems capable of a quick kick-start after several close losses that have followed a nine-game win streak into mid-January.
