Could Colorado win this game? Absolutely. Do I want the Avs to do so? Sure, who doesn't love a Stanley Cup playoff Game 7? However, the past three times Colorado has been an underdog it has lost ... all in Vegas. The Knights have put a hammerlock on Avalanche star Nathan MacKinnon, who has zero points, a minus-3 rating and nine shots on goal during his team's three-game skid (tied for season high). MacKinnon had eight shots alone in the blowout Game 1 win. Mark Stone especially has been great defensively. Vegas advances to face Montreal. The Aves went up 2-0 going into the third period in Game 5 at home but managed to allow three consecutive goals to lose in OT. The Aves were even five minutes away from going up 3-0 in the series before the Knights pulled off three straight wins. However, I think the line right now is an overreaction to those losses. These teams are so close that these games could go anyway, I think this is a 50-50 game for the Knights to close out at home so I will take the value in the underdog.
