Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Matt's Analysis:

Going back to the well with the Islanders even though they lost 4-1 at home to the Rangers on Friday. I backed the Isles in that one as the Blueshirts were starting backup Alexandar Georgiev in net, but for some reason he can beat that team almost all the time. So I guess it's a good thing the Rangers are going back to No. 1 Igor Shesterkin here. The Islanders had won four straight before Friday's loss and it's tough to see them dropping back-to-back home games.
