Some odd NBA scheduling, with these two slated to meet three times across the last two weeks of the season. Round One went to the Bulls last Friday at this same United Center, but the Knicks were welcoming OG Anunoby back to the fold for the first time in the three weeks, and NY bounced back with a convincing win at Milwaukee on Sunday. Still much to play for on the Knicks side, as improved playoff seeding remains on the table, and no sign of slowing down from Jalen Brunson, who followed his 35 points vs. the Bulls with 43 against the Bucks. With the tiebreaker edge on Atlanta, Chicago likely hosts the 9-10 play-in, which could be the main focus this week. Play Knicks
NY failed to bring its lunchbox mentality at Chicago last week and suffered for it. They don't often get out-rebounded like that (NYK No. 1 in rebound %) and they will be super motivated to atone here, having a shot at the 2 seed in the East. The Bulls are tepid at home - 3-7 ATS last 10 there - and are locked into the 9th or 10th seed and can be pretty listless. Knicks won an earlier meeting by 16. Not sure Bulls will be up for this one and I expect better outside shooting night for Knicks than how they started the 4/5 game at Chicago.
