    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Jason's Analysis:

The Blazers are waving the white flag. You can't miss it. But this game spread scares me for an ORL team that isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut. So I'm splitting the baby. POR might not show up again (MIA game was a disaster) and POR is -6.5 in first half on road since ASG (24th). ORL had some slow starts vs top opponents but usually hits ground running. Magic are +8.3 at home since ASG (4th). Wouldn't surprise me if they are up 15-20 at the half, but worry about them letting that dwindle some and POR bench players - who are playing for their careers - cutting into it late.
