    Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Mike's Analysis:

The Nets steamrolled the Warriors in their season opener with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving looking extremely impressive in the process. They have a very deep and talented roster behind those two, as well, which is going to make them a tough team to beat when they are all healthy. As impressive as the Celtics looked in a win over the Bucks on Wednesday, I still like the Nets’ chances to cover this small number.
