The key to handicapping the Warriors in the regular season is figuring out when they intend to give maximum effort. Tuesday's night game against the Pelicans is not one such instance. Golden State took care of business by wrapping up the top seed in the West and winning the last regular-season game at Oracle in a blowout. The Pelicans had hope for the future following their solid showing in last year's playoffs against Golden State, only to see everything fall apart this year amid the Anthony Davis limbo. But their makeshift lineup has played well of late and should be motivated to end the season with a respectable performance.
