The Marlins' 22-year old Pablo Lopez is being rushed into the rotation. Lopez has just 43 innings at AA and 18 innings at AAA. At AA Jacksonville Lopez's K/BB ratio was 6.4-to-1, but at AAA it was 3.75-to-1. I have Lopez rated 60 cents below the average MLB Pitcher. The Nats' Jeremy Hellickson is having a fine season with an 3.55 xFIP, however his xFIP over the previous three seasons was 4.44. At 31-years old the only change Hellickson has made is throwing more curveballs. I still have him rated 10 cents below the average pitcher on the road. Hellickson is priced right at -185, but my numbers say the total should be 10.
