My play on the Under is heavily correlated to the poor hitting environment (the worst hitters' park in baseball) and the home-plate umpire. Cory Blaser, tonight's umpire, is 6-17-0 for 73.9 percent toward the Under, with an average of 6.4 runs per game. More important than average runs, the 4.8 walks-per-game average is nearly three fewer walks per game than some of the other umpires behind home on Saturday.
