WNBA futures: Proven expert reveals picks for 2026 championship

SportsLine expert Calvin Wetzel has released his best bets to win the 2026 WNBA championship

The Las Vegas Aces have dominated the WNBA of late, winning three of the last four titles. They posted the league's best regular-season record in their first two championship seasons and finished four games behind the Minnesota Lynx for the distinction last year before proceeding to capture the crown.

Las Vegas (19-8) trails Minnesota (23-6) again this campaign, thanks to the latter's current hot streak. The Lynx entered Thursday with a winning streak that reached eight games with a 100-93 triumph over the Toronto Tempo on Tuesday in their return from the All-Star break.

Minnesota is tied with the Seattle Storm and defunct Houston Comets for the most WNBA championships with four. But the club hasn't won a title since 2017 and made its lone Finals appearance since then in 2024, when it was defeated by the New York Liberty in five games.

The Lynx, who recently regained the services of forward Napheesa Collier after the five-time All-Star missed the team's first 27 games of the year due to offseason surgery on both ankles, are the favorites to win the 2026 WNBA championship at the major sportsbooks as they are priced between +105 and +110. The Aces are the second favorites, listed from +350 to +400.

Before you make any wagers on who wins the 2026 WNBA title, you need to see proven expert Calvin Wetzel's best bets.

In the 2023 WNBA season, he finished 238-185-1 (+29.5 units).
