Seattle Seahawks 2022 futures: Super Bowl odds, win total picks, best bets, schedule and more

The Seahawks enter a new era without Russell Wilson or high expectations of making a deep playoff run.

The most shocking part of Seattle's offseason wasn't the trade of Russell Wilson to Denver for three players and a boatload of picks. It's that coach Pete Carroll, who turns 71 in September, was willing to stick around for a likely rebuilding project. Carroll's 2022 quarterback likely to be journeyman Geno Smith or failed Broncos starter Drew Lock, who was acquired in March in the Wilson trade. Outside of former All-Pro safety Jamal Adams and the team's two star receivers, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, whose talents will likely go to waste with poor QB play this season, the Seahawks' roster isn't built to win anytime soon. Their best case scenario this season might be to lose more often than not and get a high enough pick to draft one of the many highly-touted quarterback prospects in next year's class.

The schedule only features three games against 2021 playoff teams outside of the NFC West, where all three of Seattle's divisional opponents made it last season. If Lock or Smith plays at an above-average level, which seems unlikely, Seattle might be able to stay in the playoff race longer than expected. If the first ten games before the bye week go poorly, the team might be in full tank mode in the second half.

Seattle looks like a team that won't win very often this season, and therefore the -130 odds on the Seahawks to finish with fewer than six wins seem appealing. With no apparent value elsewhere as one of the NFL's worst teams on paper, projecting Seattle to lose more than eleven games in 2022 might be a wise bet.

Below, you'll find the Seattle Seahawks 2022 schedule, win total and more futures odds from Caesars Sportsbook, followed by picks from top SportsLine NFL analysts Larry Hartstein, R.J. White and Alex Selesnick. You'll also find three bets favored by the SportsLine Projection Model.

Entering the 2022 NFL season, Larry is 427-344 all-time on NFL sides (plus $3,764 for $100 players), including 394-330 ATS. He went 68-50 ATS (58 percent) and 8-3 on moneyline plays last season for a profit of $1,552. Over the past seven years, R.J.'s SuperContest picks are 329-250-21 (56.8 percent) and he consistently crushes the NFL: He went 445-378-24 on ATS picks from 2017-21, returning $2,542 to $100 players as SportsLine's No. 1 NFL expert in against the spread picks. Selesnick (aka PropStarz) specializes in MLB, NFL and NBA prop betting, where he implements a combination of research, statistical analysis and mathematical modeling to deliver profitable long-term results.
