The SportsLine Projection Model has a pick for Thursday's Stanley Cup conference semifinals game at PNC Arena in Raleigh between the Hurricanes and New York Rangers

The New York Rangers will try to make it three wins in a row and take over their second-round series on Thursday night when they visit the Carolina Hurricanes for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup playoffs conference semifinals. The home team has been the victor in the first four games between Carolina and New York, with the Rangers taking the last two games at Madison Square Garden. In Game 4 on Tuesday, New York forward Andrew Copp tallied a goal and two assists while netminder Igor Shesterkin made 30 saves as New York sailed to a 4-1 win. But securing the victory on Thursday will be no easy feat, with Sebastian Aho and the Hurricanes having so much success on their home ice. This is one Game 5 you absolutely will not want to miss.

Puck drop from PNC Arena is set for 7 p.m. ET. The Hurricanes are listed as the -150 favorite on the 60 minute money line in the Hurricanes vs. Rangers odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the Rangers are the +130 underdogs. The over-under for goals is set at 5.5 (see the latest lines for every game on our NHL odds page).

Before making any Rangers vs. Hurricanes picks, you NEED to see the latest NHL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates each NHL game 10,000 times. It entered this week with a 125-108 season-long record on top-rated NHL side picks. Anybody who has followed it has seen some profitable returns.

The model knows that Carolina has been unbeatable at home since the start of the Stanley Cup playoffs, and that's because their entire lineup buzzes when they play in their home barn. While Aho and Teuvo Teravainen have led the offense, gaolie Antti Raanta has done his best work on home ice with a .931 save percentage and one shutout through the first two rounds of the playoffs. With a rowdy home crowd to cheer them on, the Hurricanes will no doubt put up a huge fight.

But the model also knows that if any team can win on the road in these playoffs, it's the Rangers. New York proved that in Round 1 when they upended the Sidney Crosby and the Penguins 5-3 in Pittsburgh to push the series to a Game 7 in the Big Apple, which they won in spectacular fashion in overtime. If New York can continue rolling all four lines as they did in Games 3 and 4 of this series, they will be hard to contain on Thursday night.

Now, the model has set its sights on Hurricanes vs. Rangers. We can tell you it's leaning Over on the goal total, and it also says one side of the money line has ALL the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NHL picks of your own.

So who wins Hurricanes vs. Rangers in the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs? And which side of the money line has ALL the value? ...
