The Boston Red Sox host the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday in the first game of a doubleheader at Fenway Park. The teams will meet five times over Memorial Day weekend, starting Friday and wrapping up Monday night. The Orioles (19-27) rallied in Friday night's game with 10 runs in the final three innings for a 12-8 victory against the Red Sox (21-24).

First pitch Saturday is set for at 12:10 p.m. ET. Boston is listed as a -200 favorite (risk $200 to win $100) at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 9.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our MLB odds page).

Before you lock in any Red Sox vs. Orioles picks, you NEED to check out the MLB predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model knows Boston has been on fire, winning seven of its past nine, and it averages 4.3 runs to Baltimore's 3.5. J.D. Martinez leads the majors in batting average (.379) and is fourth in OPS (1.036). Trevor Story has nine homers, seven in the past eight games, and is tied for third in MLB with 37 RBI. Nathan Eovaldi is set to start for the Red Sox, and he has allowed three runs or fewer in eight of his nine starts.

The model also knows the Orioles have some talented players who could take advanatge of Eovaldi. The Red Sox have allowed 57 home runs, third-most in the majors, and Eovaldi has allowed 15 of those. Top propspect Adley Rutschman hit .250 in his first five games and had a triple. Outfielders Austin Hays (.811 OPS), Cedric Mullins (30 HR last season) and Anthony Santander (24 RBI, 23 walks) are all capable hitters.
