From a glass-half-full perspective, none of our three proposed lookahead plays for the upcoming Week 7 schedule has undergone undesirable line movement. From a glass-half-empty angle, two spreads have not budged, so waiting a week until a few days before those games would not have mattered.

We endorsed the Jacksonville Jaguars at -5.5 against New England, thinking the Patriots would lose in rookie quarterback Drake Maye's starting debut. In fact, they did, though Maye was decent. Alas, the Jags were soundly beaten by the Chicago Bears in London. The similar outcomes resulted in a net zero in terms of line movement.

Ditto the Tennessee Titans at +8.5 against the Buffalo Bills. The underdogs enjoyed a bye, and the Bills' narrow win over the New York Jets was close enough to keep this number in place. 

In contrast, the battle of Ohio teams blessedly underwent a significant shift. The Cincinnati Bengals, -3.5 last week against the Cleveland Browns, have soared to 6-point favorites.

While the Bengals ground out a win over the New York Giants, this is more about the Browns. They slipped to 1-5 with a fourth straight loss and have yet to attain 20 points scored. A vastly better Bengals offense explains the bumped-up number.
