The Louisville Cardinals host the Florida State Seminoles on Friday night in their first home game of the season. The Cardinals (1-1) beat UCF 20-14 last Friday in the Bounce House in Orlando, while FSU (2-0) comes off a bye week after an impressive 24-23 victory against LSU at the Superdome in New Orleans. The series is split 4-4 since the teams became ACC rivals in 2014, and Louisville won last year's meeting 31-23 in Tallahassee.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET at Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, Ky. The Seminoles are 3-point favorites in the latest Florida State vs. Louisville odds from Caesars Sportsbook, and the over/under for total points is set at 57 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college football odds page).

Before you make any Louisville vs. Florida State picks, you NEED to check out the college football predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past six-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,400 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It enters Week 3 of the 2022 college football season on a 50-41 run on all top-rated college football spread and money-line picks that dates back to 2021. Anyone who has followed it has seen huge returns.

The model knows the Seminoles will be fired up to move to 3-0 for the first time since 2015, and that the LSU win on the road boosted their confidence. They face a Louisville defense that is allowing 207.5 rushing yards in the first two games, and FSU averages 269 on the ground. Treshaun Ward, Trey Benson and Lawrance Toafili all average at least 5.9 yards per carry. The defense allows just 256 yards per game and has five sacks, including three from Jared Verse, and it will focus on bottling up Louisville QB Malik Cunningham.

The model also has considered that Cunningham is one of the nation's most dangerous quarterbacks and can single-handedly beat teams. He threw for 195 yards and rushed for 121 against UCF last week. He and running back Tiyon Evans both rush more for more than 5.0 yards per carry. Evans had 75 rushing yards last week. Cunningham also has kept teams honest by hitting receiver Tyler Hudson, who has 11 catches in the first two games for 169 yards. Ahmari Huggins-Bruce (four catches for 99 yards) also can make huge plays.

The model has broken down the Florida State vs. Louisville matchup from every angle, and we can tell you the model is leaning Over the total. It also says one side of the spread hits in well over 50% of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college football picks.
