College football odds, lines, spreads: Picks, predictions, betting advice for Week 9, 2024 from proven computer model

The SportsLine Projection Model, which has generated well over $2,000 for $100 college football bettors since its inception, has revealed its college football picks for Week 9

The Week 9 college football schedule features a whopping five ranked vs. ranked matchups, including No. 8 LSU at No. 14 Texas A&M on Saturday night. Texas A&M is a 1-point favorite in the Week 9 college football odds as it looks to extend its six-game winning streak. Other top-25 showdowns this weekend include No. 24 Navy (+14) vs. No. 12 Notre Dame, No. 15 Alabama (-15.5) vs. No. 21 Missouri, No. 1 Oregon (-21.5) vs. No. 20 Illinois, and No. 25 Vanderbilt (+17.5) vs. No. 5 Texas.

Vanderbilt knocked off then-No. 1 Alabama at the beginning of October, and it has added wins over Kentucky and Ball State since then. The Longhorns are coming off their first loss of the season, falling to Georgia at home last week.

Before making any college football picks for those games or others in Week 9, be sure to see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Since its inception, it has generated a profit of well over $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college spread football picks, and it is a sizzling 14-7 on all top-rated picks over the past four weeks of this season. Anyone following has seen STRONG returns!

Now, it has studied the latest college football odds (see the latest college football lines for each matchup this week on our college football odds page), simulated every single play for every Week 9 game, and the results are in.

One of the college picks the model is high on during Week 9: Michigan (-4) cruises to a blowout win over Michigan State in a 7:30 p.m. ET matchup on Saturday, with the Wolverines covering in well over 60% of simulations.

Another prediction: No. 3 Penn State (-6.5) takes care of business at Wisconsin in an 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday. The model has the Nittany Lions covering well over 60% of the time.

The model has also made the call on who wins and covers in every other FBS matchup, and it's calling for five underdogs to win outright!
