Army vs. Tulane prediction, odds: College football expert reveals 2024 AAC Championship Game picks

SportsLine expert Eric Cohen, who is 62-39 (+2023) on his college football picks this season, made his prediction for Tulane vs. Army in the 2024 American Athletic Conference Championship Game

The 2024 AAC Championship Game will take place on Friday night when No. 24 Army hosts Tulane. The Black Knights made the title game in their first year as a member of the conference, going unbeaten in AAC play. Tulane had its College Football Playoff hopes dashed in a 34-24 loss to Memphis last week, which snapped an eight-game winning streak.

Kickoff from Blaik Field at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York, is set for 8 p.m. ET. Tulane is a 4.5-point favorite in the latest Army vs. Tulane odds from SportsLine consensus, while the over/under for total points scored is 45.5. Tulane is the -204 favorite (risk $204 to win $100) on the money line.

Before making any Tulane vs. Army picks or college football predictions, you NEED to hear what SportsLine college football expert Eric Cohen has to say.

Cohen, host of the weekly Early Edge College Football Picks Show on CBS Sports Network, is also a top expert posting a 62-39 (+20.23 units) on college football picks this season. Over the last two seasons, he is a combined 69-44 against the spread (+19.64 units). Anyone who has followed him is way up!

Now, Cohen has analyzed Army vs. Tulane from every angle and just locked in his picks and predictions.

Cohen knows that Army went 8-0 in conference play during the regular season, picking up wins over bowl-eligible teams like East Carolina, UTSA and North Texas. The Black Knights have one of the best rushing attacks in the country, averaging 312.5 yards per game. They are scoring 32.7 points per game while allowing just 15.1 points.

The expert also has taken into account that Tulane has the strongest strength of schedule in the AAC, and Army has not faced the other top three teams in the conference. The Green Wave shut out Navy in a 35-0 final two games ago, holding the Midshipmen to just 100 total yards. They have allowed just 3.7 yards per carry in league play, which sets them up for success against Army's rushing attack.

Now, Cohen has locked in a confident against-the-spread pick for Army vs. Tulane. He knows a crucial X-factor makes one side of the spread a MUST-BACK. You ABSOLUTELY need to see what it is before locking in any picks of your own.
