Combine a huge payday with one of the most popular PGA Tour events, and you get a stacked field for the 2023 WM Phoenix Open, which tees off Thursday at TPC Scottsdale. The first designated event of the PGA Tour season means a $20 million purse, and world No. 1 Rory McIlroy leads a WM Phoenix Open field that features 22 of the world's top 25 golfers. Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele are among them, and Scheffler comes in as the defending champion.

Caesars Sportsbook lists McIlroy as the 8-1 favorite, with Rahm right behind at 17-2, in its latest 2023 WM Phoenix Open odds. Four other players are shorter than 20-1 in the WM Phoenix Open 2023 field -- Schauffele (14-1), Scheffler (15-1), Tony Finau (18-1) and Collin Morikawa (18-1).

Which players can you trust for your WM Phoenix Open 2023 fantasy golf picks? Before you bet the 2023 WM Phoenix Open or lock in any Fantasy golf lineups, you NEED to see the 2023 WM Phoenix Open Fantasy golf rankings from Fantasy expert Jim Holliman.

Holliman has been a writer and editor for nearly 25 years and has been playing and following the game closely for more than three decades. The Florida-based writer knows what it takes to win on the PGA Tour and how the players' games fit the courses.

The golf expert has been on a roll on his picks since last season. At the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, six of the expert's picks finished in the top 15, including winner Justin Rose and top-five finishers Denny McCarthy and Keith Mitchell. At the Farmers, every player in his predictions made the cut, and four finished in the top 15, including winner Max Homa!

Last season, he NAILED the Tour Championship, saying Rory McIlroy was the only player capable of making up a six-stroke deficit to get past Scottie Scheffler before his big rally for victory. Holliman also was behind Will Zalatoris (28-1) at the St. Jude and was on the money at the Wyndham Championship, with Tom Kim (35-1) among his selections. Anyone who has followed Holliman's predictions is WAY UP on their golf picks.

Now, Holliman has ranked his top players for the 2023 WM Phoenix Open, and we can tell you the expert is strongly backing McIlroy. "Why would he slow down?" the expert says, pointing out that the Northern Irishman has seven straight top-five finishes worldwide, including two big victories.

On the other hand, Holliman is slightly fading Rahm, even though he has finished in the top 10 in every tournament this season. The expert says rounds of 73 and 74 at the Farmers show he "might be coming back to the pack a bit. The Spaniard barely cracks Holliman's top five!

Instead, Holliman is backing several long shots, including one at more than 25-1 who comes off an excellent finish! This golfer has been shooting really low scores this season and probably should have a victory already. If this golfer pulls off a SHOCKING victory this week, he would bring a SIGNIFICANT payday and make an excellent pick for your WM Phoenix Open 2023 Fantasy golf picks

You ABSOLUTELY need to see who Holliman is touting and check out his top picks before you lock in any 2023 WM Phoenix Open fantasy golf picks!
