The Christophe Clement-trained Gufo will try to win his second graded stakes race in three weeks when he leaves the starting gate in the 2022 Kentucky Turf Cup on Saturday at Kentucky Downs in Franklin, Ky. Two weeks ago Gufo rallied for a win in the Grade 1 Sword Dancer Stakes at Saratoga. For Saturday he has been installed as the 7-5 favorite in the Kentucky Turf Cup odds. Two-time Kentucky Turf Cup winner Arklow is the 7-2 second choice in the 12-horse Kentucky Turf Cup field, while Temple is the 6-1 third choice. Post time is 5:45 p.m. ET.
