PGA champion Justin Thomas, Masters winner Scottie Scheffler and three-time major champ Jordan Spieth highlight the field for the 2022 Charles Schwab Challenge this week at Colonial Country Club. The invitational tournament in Fort Worth, Texas tees off Thursday, and Scheffler will be looking to bounce back from his missed cut in last week's PGA Championship, where Spieth tied for 34th. Thomas beat Will Zalatoris in a playoff to win his second major last week at Southern Hills. Spieth was the runner-up to Jason Kokrak at Colonial last season, and 2020 winner Daniel Berger and Collin Morikawa, the runner-up that year, also are among those scheduled to compete as part of the strong post-major field.        

Scheffler is the 10-1 favorite in Caesars Sportsbook's latest 2022 Charles Schwab Challenge golf odds, with Thomas right behind at 12-1. Spieth is priced at 14-1 and Morikawa is 16-1, while Berger (35-1) and Kokrak (40-1) are longer shots to contend for the Charles Schwab 2022 title.
