It's bound to be another tight one this week on the PGA Tour when the 2021 Shriners Children's Open tees off Thursday at TPC Summerlin. The past two tournaments in Las Vegas have finished at 23 under par, and both went to a playoff. Martin Laird won on third extra hole last year for his second Shriners title.

Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler are the 22-1 co-favorites in the latest 2021 Shriners Hospitals for Children odds at Caesars Sportsbook. Last week's winner Sam Burns and four-time major champion Brooks Koepka are not far behind at 25-1.

Before you lock in any of your Fantasy golf rankings or bet the 2021 Shriners Children's Open, you HAVE TO see what fantasy expert Riley Gates has to say.

Gates is a writer for 247Sports and has covered  a range of sports for nearly five years. He has followed golf closely for much longer and has a profound knowledge of the sport. He also knows what it takes to win, on the course and in fantasy sports.

At last week's Sanderson Farms Championship, four of Gate's top five players finished in the top 15, including Burns, who was his top pick and won the tournament. At the season-opening Fortinet Championship, six of Gates' top 10 picks finished in the top 25, including winner Max Homa.

Now, Gates has ranked the top 20 golfers for the 2021 Shriners Children's Open. We can tell you he is very high on Hovland this week. The 24-year-old already has two tour wins and tied for fifth at the season-ending Tour Championship last month. He also won the BMW International Open in Munich this summer. Gates is looking for big things from the Norwegian this season, and it starts for him this week!

On the other hand, Gates is fading Brooks Koepka, who doesn't crack the fantasy expert's top five. The 31-year-old had a strong season despite major knee surgery in February and finished in the top six in three majors. But he can lose focus in lesser events, and he has two top-five finishes and three missed cuts in this tournament. Gates doesn't know what to expect and offers other options for your Fantasy golf picks!

Instead, the fantasy expert is recommending a long-shot who comes in at well over 40-1! This overlooked veteran has gone double-digits under par in three of his last four events and is routinely well inside the top 25. He has finished in the top 20 three times at the Shriners and should be a key piece to your Fantasy golf picks this week! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is and check out Gates' top picks before you bet the 2021 Shriners Children's Open or enter any Fantasy golf picks.
