Today's picks: Why the Phillies will beat the Cubs, plus more MLB and NFL best bets for Wednesday, Sept. 28

Coach starts things off with the SportsLine play of the day: Guardians Team Total Over 3 (-118) against the Rays (6:10 p.m. ET). "[The Guardians] have hit this in eight straight games," he says.

McClure has a teaser for Thursday night's NFL game (8:15 p.m. ET): Dolphins (+10) and Over 41 (-120). "The injuries that are significant here are the secondary for Miami, some of the injuries on the Bengals said as well," he says. "All these things should lead to a few more points in this game."

Bollman has two MLB plays. The first is the Phillies (-175) to beat the Cubs (7:40 p.m. ET). "The Phillies were able to save their top bullpen arms yesterday," he says.

His second play is the Brewers (-140) to beat the Cardinals (7:40 p.m. ET). "The Cardinals clinched the NL Central last night, so I think they're gonna give a majority of their starters off today, if not all of them," he says.

Hartstein closes out the show with a NFL play for Sunday: the Texans (+5) to cover against the Chargers (1 p.m. ET). "[The Texans] just play tight games," he says. "Every single game has come down to the wire."
