(At least the Bulls’ defensive coordinator will be spared. He, too, was fired.) Assuming the SMU offense catches its breath, it can carve up a defense that has yielded 141 points the past three outings. The one concern is SMU holding back late in the game as it looks to next Thursday’s major meeting with Tulane.
