The two teams split the season series. UNC has been playing much better of late with their season on the line as a bubble team for the big dance. Virginia has an above-average defense but struggles guarding the three and North Carolina has been shooting 38.2 percent over their last three games. The Tar Heels have the rebounding edge on both edges of the floor and are, surprisingly, the better free-throw shooting team as well.
