Reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and fifth-year senior Caleb McConnell (9.7 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 3.0 apg, 2.5 spg) likely won't play vs. Michigan due to back spasms. Michigan has its own injury issues, with second-leading scorer Jett Howard (14.4 ppg) iffy due to an ankle injury and forward Terrance Williams (6.8 ppg, 6.1 rpg) also questionable. With Rutgers down two key starters, I'll back the more desperate Wolverines.
