C-USA TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINAL: UTEP didn't need any points when the Miners won at Rice last month. They we're getting +8 at the time, but after covering 13 straight games to close out the regular season, today's spread tells the story of how improved the Miners are. They started the season 2-13 straight-up and had failed to cover eight straight before this incredible run began. They've beaten most of the heavyweights in C-USA during the run, so why not Rice again? I'm on a motivated, fired-up UTEP team to keep its roll going.
