Northwestern’s stay in the Top 25 poll might be short-lived. Leading scorer Scottie Lindsey (illness) and able sidekick Nathan Taphorn (ankle) are idled. Admittedly, this is a big spread, which opened at seven, but the Boilermakers have covered in eight of their last nine home dates. They head up the Big Ten in scoring margin, so they are capable of a double-digit win, especially by staying hot on three-pointers. Slightly more than half of their threes have found the mark in the past four outings.
