Jonathan Coachman is joined by Larry Hartstein, Jon "Buckets" Eimer and Allan Bell on The Early Edge podcast, where they give you their best bets for NFL Thursday Night Football, soccer and college basketball for Nov. 10.

First up are the storylines, and Larry touches on Thursday Night Football, with Falcons vs. Panthers set to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET. Hartstein is surprised that the Panthers are going back to P.J. Walker at quarterback, but the remnants of Hurricane Nicole could make it a run-heavy night. Atlanta averages 34 rushes per game, and The Maestro says "we could see 40 tonight, given the weather." 

Allan points out that the Over has hit in three straight Thursday night games, and Carolina has given up almost 40 points per game over their past two and can't stop the run. "Tonight is going to be fascinating," Bell says, with the weather and the Falcons' tendency to keep it on the ground likely to test this trend.       

Buckets then offers some advice on the soccer slate as the major world leagues get ready for the World Cup break. He says you have to be careful where you put your money. "We're seeing a lot of these normally really good teams heavily rotate and rest these players that are going to be representing their country," Eimer says.

Coach starts off the picks with a college basketball play, and Larry points out the SportsLine's experts have started the season a STUNNING 22-3-1. The pick is from the Citadel vs. Presbyterian game at 7 p.m. ET, and college basketball expert Matt Severance is backing The Citadel -145.

Buckets has two soccer picks, the first from the Spanish La Liga's Rayo Vallecano vs. Celta Vigo at 1 p.m. ET. He is taking Vallecano Over 1.5 Goals Team Total at +140. "When Rayo Vallecano play at home, they are a nightmare to deal with," Eimer says, and they just beat Real Madrid on their home turf.

Jon also has a play from the Dutch Eridivisie's Feyenoord vs. Cambuur matchup at 2 p.m. ET. The soccer expert is taking Feyenoord Over 2.5 Goals Team Total (-140). Feyenoord could be a "serious threat to win this league," he says, and they also are excellent at their home grounds.

Allan has three picks, starting off with an NFL prop on Panthers vs. Falcons, going with Atlanta tight end Kyle Pitts Over 37.5 Receiving Yards (-130). With Carolina focused on stopping the run, the Falcons' Marcus Mariota should look to exploit that with short passes, and Pitts should be his guy all night.

Bell also has another NFL pick, getting a Monday Night Football play in early for Commanders vs. Eagles (8:15 p.m. ET). He likes Philadelphia Over 13.5 First-Half Team Total (-125), and he expects this to move to 14 or more with the Eagles coming off a tight game and looking to make another statement.

His final play is a college football pick for Saturday from Tennessee vs. Missouri (Noon ET), taking the Vols Over 37.5 points Team Total (-115). UT will be looking to blow teams out with the College Football Playoff race getting into the stretch run.

The Maestro has an NFL prop from Thursday Night Football, and he is backing Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier Over 31.5 Rushing Yards (-110). The rookie from BYU had 10 carries for 99 yards last week, and Carolina allowed 6.2 yards per carry as Joe Mixon rushed for 153 for the Bengals in their 42-21 victory over the Panthers in Week 9.
