NC State is 3-2 on the season but they haven’t covered a spread yet and they’ve stayed Under the total in four of the five. Marshall has won nine straight games and are an underdog for the first time this season. NC State lost 13-10 to Louisville last week and 45-24 to Notre Dame as their only losses. Marshall’s signature win so far is against Virginia Tech. NC State injects some life into their offense by starting sophomore QB MJ Morris and I’m on board for it. NC State to cover.

The Wolfpack have made the change from quarterback Brennan Armstrong to MJ Morris against Marshall after Armstrong and the rest of the Wolfpack set offensive football back several decades last week. The undefeated Thundering Herd’s defense has been solid all season long, so this one is likely to be a slugfest. In that case give me the offense without massive issues to not only cover, but win outright.
