There’s no edge in this number. Texas deserves to be a touchdown favorite. But I do think the Longhorns rating is way too high, based on catching Alabama in Austin in an early-season non-conference game. And I don’t think enough of the Texas rating has been reduced after losing 37-34 at Texas Tech last week. West Virginia has found its groove on both sides of the ball, winning and covering its last two. The Mountaineers grew up fast in losses to Pitt and Kansas and learned from them. I took the points with West Virginia, which just might win outright.
