Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will not play Monday vs. the Raptors

The Bucks are playing it safe with the Greek Freak for Monday's game.

The Milwaukee Bucks opened as 7-point favorites for Monday's game (6:30 p.m. ET) from the Orlando bubble vs. the Toronto Raptors in what could be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals, but that number is down to Bucks - 5 now on the NBA odds at William Hill sportsbook and likely will continue to drop with the news that Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will sit it out because of a toothache. The Over-Under total also has fallen a few points to 225.5.

Needless to say, if the game mattered at all the Greek Freak would be in there, but Milwaukee already has clinched the East's top seed. Antetokounmpo, who is expected to repeat as the league MVP, is averaging 29.8 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists this season.

He had scored at least 33 points in five bubble games thus far and is averaging 31.0 points on 63.5 percent shooting from the field in the bubble. Milwaukee plays again Tuesday vs. Washington and Thursday vs. Memphis before opening the playoffs next week vs. Orlando.

The Raptors have nothing to play for, either, as they are locked into the East's second seed, so these teams can't play again until the East Finals. This is the second of a back-to-back for Toronto and it is listing a handful of guys as questionable or else it would be favored with Giannis out.

"I'd expect a good amount of secondary movement once their statuses are finalized," a William Hill sportsbook spokesman said of the line and those Toronto questionable guys.

The Bucks have an opportunity to sweep the season series for the first time since 2012-13. Giannis averaged 27.5 points, 17.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists vs. Toronto this season.
